Lucie Sleeman

Lucie is the head of our Private Client and Land & Property teams.

Lucie has a wealth of experience in dealing with all aspects of trust administration as well as estate planning and the administration of both UK and foreign domiciliary estates. Lucie regularly advises on wealth preservation and the protection of assets through the appropriate use of Deeds of Variation and Declarations of Trust by way of example. Lucie also specialises in the drafting of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and is involved in elderly client matters and Court of Protection work.

In addition to this, Lucie has a keen interest in our charity work and is involved in the formation of new charities as well as the on-going administration of existing charities that the firm has established and continues to support.

As head of our busy Land & Property department, Lucie deals with all aspects of residential property work as well as handling all of our Agricultural Property transactions and dealing with matters such as Option Agreements and the more complex Land & Property transactions.

Lucie’s clients benefit from her unusually wide-ranging knowledge of both Private Client matters and Land & Property and from her ability to see the bigger picture when it comes to making decisions relating to both. Lucie’s extensive and holistic advice allows her to offer her clients a truly comprehensive and bespoke service.

Having joined the firm in 2001 as a barrister Lucie then completed her training contract at the firm and upon passing the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test, qualified as a solicitor.  Lucie became a partner in March 2007.

When not looking after her young daughter, Lucie enjoys the gruelling heat of Bikram Yoga and as much tennis as she is able to find the time for.
