Wills question:

I went to see a solicitor and asked for help with inheritance tax, and possibly setting up a Trust for my grandchildren, and perhaps a n Enduring Power of Attorney and how to pass on my savings to my family. At the end of my appointment I said I would like to go home and consider his suggestions. I did not contact him and then after a month he sent a Trust document plus a copy and said I should sign and return. This was a suprise as I had not asked him to proceed with anything for me. I am 76 years old and admit I am a bit slow. The solkicitor has now dent me a bill for £1,5oo and I do not know what to do as his charges were never mentioned and I understoo that there was no charge for an initial meeting. I asked him to recommend someone that specialises in Inheritance and he said he would but he has not. I did not think he knew this subject very well and that is why I have bee n hesitating for the last few months. Please tell me how tostop him prosecuting me for this money when I did not ask him to do so.h This is to do with Inheritance Tax mitigation.
